Second-year aerospace engineering student at the Technion. I'm interested in fluid & aerodynamics, propulsion, CFD, and robotics.

Education
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology
BSc, Aerospace Engineering  ·  Dean's List
Galilee High School, Nazareth
Grade 119/119  ·  Gifted class, Physics / CS / Mechatronics
MUN club member and advisor.
NIR School of the Heart
Cardiovascular Engineering for Gifted Youth
Affiliated with the Harvard & MIT Biomedical Engineering Lab, funded by Medinol. The leading such program for Palestinian, Israeli, and Jordanian students in the Middle East.
Experience
Technion Reactive Thermofluidics Lab
Research Assistant
  • Designed, fabricated and tested mechanical components for experiments on detonation (DDT) and cool-flame phenomena.
  • Assisted with experimental setup, instrumentation and data acquisition for thermofluidic studies.
Formula Student Technion
Aerodynamics Lead
  • Performed conjugate heat transfer simulations on electronic components (like the battery accumulator).
  • Led the aerodynamic design of the rear wing, cooling ducts, wing elements and body panels.
  • Verified the design using CFD software (STAR-CCM+ & Ansys Fluent), optimized the design using FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation & Altair Inspire).
  • Performed wind tunnel testing to validate CFD simulation results.
  • Managed the team's 3D printing and carbon fiber manufacturing.
  • Adapted new CFD methods, like cornering simulations, simulation workflow automation and adjoint based mesh refinement.
Technion Rocketry Club
Propulsion Engineer
  • Designed and analyzed LOX tanks for cryogenic operation in a blowdown regime.
  • Contributed to the atomizer design, to ensure even fuel-oxidizer mixing for consistent combustion.
  • Researched insulation and fail-safe methods, to ensure safety and compatibility with the local conditions.
FIRST FRC
CAD Mentor
  • An international robotics competition for high school students. I serve as a CAD mentor, helping students realise their ideas using SolidWorks and Onshape.
  • 2022 – worked on the ball shooter (the robot ranked #2 nationally). The mechanism was lightweight, included a turret system for adjusting angles both horizontally and vertically, and able to autonomously calculate best shooting angle & velocity.
  • 2023 – worked on the gripper (#8 nationally) – flexible to enable both cone and cube picking while consistent and robust. The robot finished the second annual competition with 12 wins and 0 losses.
  • 2024 – served as the lead CAD mentor, the robot won the Israeli championship qualifying for worlds' championship. In addition, I worked on electronics and fabrication (3D printing & CNC).
Madatech – National Museum of Science, Technology and Space
Science Instructor
  • Served as science and robotics instructor, conducting exhilarating activities for pupils and museum visitors.
  • Conducted science experiments for children (DIY missiles and aeroplanes).
  • Led summer workshops to teach students Onshape and 3D printing/laser cutting.
Freelance
Robotics Tutor
Teaching LEGO SPIKE robotics to elementary school students.
Projects
CFD Solver
Python
Built a solver using finite-difference discretization of the Navier–Stokes equations with velocity/pressure field visualization. Currently extending to a lattice Boltzmann formulation.
